After the establishment of Chr. Olesen & Co. A/S, a period of heavy expansion followed, in which subsidiaries were established in Germany, Belgium, and USA.

During the same period, the company's headquarters were moved to Copenhagen, a more central location in relation to the current more international character of the company.

In 2003 Chr. Olesen Nutrition A/S was established to focus on the sales of active ingredients to the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries.

In 2006 Chr. Olesen A/S acquired Activet GmbH in Germany. Activet GmbH is focused on the sales and distribution of active ingredients for the production of pharmaceuticals for veterinarian purposes. http://www.activet.de

In April 2009, Chr. Olesen Pharmaceuticals A/S was established with the purpose of becoming an important player in the distribution of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) to the pharmaceutical industry around the world.
